EZI is an up and coming independent LGBTQ+ recording artist and songwriter. She’s built a loyal fanbase through the years with her moody genre bending sonics and deeply personal lyrics discussing mental health and identity. Originally from Long Island, New York, Esther Zyskind got her start in entertainment professionally as an actress when she starred in the short-lived Nickelodeon series The Other Kingdom. She eventually signed to Steve Madden's 5Towns Records after a serendipitous meeting with the shoe designer mogul at one of his flagship stores in Manhattan. Adopting the name EZI to separate her acting career from her music. She released her debut EP AFRAID OF THE DARK which ended up amassing over 25 million streams with virtually no editorial support. In 2022 EZI's cover of Take My Breath Away went viral becoming the #1 used song on instagram reels in the US for over three weeks amassing over 18 million streams across platforms as well as being top 40 on the viral charts in Brazil. In 2024 EZI will be releasing her debut album ‘Into Your Power, Into The Light’ completely independently. Her sultry and cinematic single ‘She’s Back’ marks the unfolding of this new era.
